About me...
In 2018, I was looking through old scraps of paper from my middle school years and came across a "bucket list" I had written out when I was probably 14. Third on the list: get certified to teach yoga.
I could not believe it at the time; I have no memory of writing that down but do remember thinking that teaching yoga would be an interesting side job one day.
I read that two years into deciding yoga would be my career. Not a side job, not a hobby, but my life.
In 2016, after three months of post graduation -solo travel through Europe, I was returning home to ground my roots. I needed to make a decision, any decision. College? A trade? I felt aimless.
As I sat with myself and my options, I reflected on three months of travel through four different countries and countless cities. Amidst it all, yoga was my one constant. From my balcony in Valencia, Spain to my cozy apartment in chilly autumnal Italy, I practiced almost every day. It was what I looked forward to most, even in the middle of it all.
The day after I landed, I attended a teacher training into session at the studio in town and the following day signed up for the training.

In June 2016, I completed my 200 hours of training and received my license to teach yoga! I have been happily teaching multiple classes each week since; I'm over the hump of teaching more than 1000 classes!
In the years since, I haven't stopped learning! I am continuing to better my teaching and expand my offerings, commuting between New Jersey, New York City, and Philadelphia often and traveling as far as California, Bali, and Argentina, to attend trainings.
I am a Reiki Master and have trained in Healing Touch as well as prenatal and postnatal yoga, and Thai massage. I also received my certification as an Acro Yoga teacher and it is truly one of my passions!
If there's anything else you'd like to know,
don't hesitate to reach out.
I'd love to connect!
Namaste,
Sarah
